Major's Minute
A funny thing happened the other day. A container of wooden words were looked at in my office. Someone asked, "Why do you have UGH" in your office?" when I started laughing and said that the word was HUG!
Isn't it odd how we can see things differently from the way it was meant to be? There are many officers transitioning and meeting new congregations and ministries today when they might not have wanted to leave. We have transition in our congregation with people coming and going and it's hard.
Often times we may see things as "ugh" and question "Why?" But God might be showing His love to us in a way that we don't see yet or maybe understand. But, God knows what He is doing! Let's trust in Him.
Lyrics to I Trust in God
Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine
He's been my fourth man in the fire, time after time
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood
And what He did for me on Calvary is more than enough
I trust in God, my Savior
The one who will never fail
He will never fail
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I know the author of tomorrow has ordered my steps
So this is my story and this is my song
I'm praising my risen King and Savior all the day long
I trust in God, my Savior
The one who will never fail
He will never fail
I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered
That's why I trust Him, that's why I trust Him

We praise the Lord for allowing us the space and resources to open a Community Clothing Closet. We pray that it will be another touch point for us to show the love of God and create an avenue to this loving body of Christ. If you might be interested in volunteering for this ministry through hanging clothes, meeting people as they shop, data input and more, please let us know.
