Clear Backpacks Update
There is currently no school wide policy for clear backpacks as DPS does not have an existing policy that requires clear backpacks for students. School policy cannot require more than district policy.
Jordan will continue to implement the "DPS Stadium & Gymnasium Policies and Procedures" which require clear bags for entry into athletic events.
2024-25 Student Schedules Update
Student schedules go live in PowerSchool on Friday, August 9th.
The schedule change form will be live on the website on August 12th and will be open until August 19th. Any changes will need to be submitted on this form during this time frame. No changes will be accepted through phone calls, in person, or through email. No changes will be accepted for lunch or teacher preference. Counselors will be working on acceptable changes the week of August 20th and will send you a message when it is processed.
Campus Beautification - August 10 - Help Needed
The Jordan PTSA is sponsoring a campus beautification event on Saturday, August 10, to help our school prepare for the return of faculty, staff, and students. Simply click on this link to volunteer. August 17th is our campus beautification rain date.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed on Monday, August 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to decorate hall bulletin boards and our SRO office. Volunteers will meet in the media center at 9:30 a.m.

- Student Schedules Go Live on August 9th
- Summer Bridge/Freshmen Orientation is August 13th - August 16th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Agriscience Pathway Orientation is August 16th, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- New Student Orientation (Grades 10, 11, 12) is August 16th, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Floating Open House/Schedule Walkthrough is August 23rd, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
