Attention Art Fans & Ceramic Enthusiasts
Ashland Middle School will be restarting its after-school clay club this month!
This is a weekly after-school opportunity and space is limited. Students will be selected to participate on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will meet on Mondays, from 3:10-4:15 in room 207 (except for our first meeting on November 13th, from 2:00 pm – 3:15 pm). Permission slips can be found in the main office or the art room, 207.
Please read, sign, and return the permission slip with a parent approval NO LATER THAN November 12th, if you are interested in joining the AMS Clay Club. We hope to see you there.
Help AMS Support Asheville Middle School
Ashland Middle School is hosting a coin drive to support Asheville Middle School, which was impacted by Hurricane Helene. From Friday, October 18th through November 15th, students can bring coins to their homeroom class to help raise funds for those affected by the hurricane.
Each hall will compete to see which homeroom can collect the most money. The winning homeroom for each hall will be awarded a prize, and an overall grand prize will be awarded as well. The goal for each homeroom is to raise $50.
Thank you for your generosity and support!

Cubs Corner Donation Request
Supplies are low and we are asking for help!
Cubs Corner is a fun place where students can do crafts, hang out and play games together during lunch.
Student requests are:
- sets of playing cards (down to zero decks)
- thick white elastic string for making bracelets, beads and do-dads
- origami paper
- yarn and crochet hooks
- we are open to all varieties of craft supplies that you no longer use
Supplies or cash donations can be dropped off at the main office. Donations do not have to be new; partial packages of paper or partial skeins of yarn will gladly be accepted. We would like complete playing card sets though! 😊
