Please review the important dates and helpful information below that will assist in a smooth start to the school year.

Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 7 am Student schedules will be viewable in the Infinite Campus Parent Link Portal.

Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 8 am - 12 pm Assigned Senior Date: Seniors are invited to campus

Friday, August 2, 2024, from 8 am - 12 pm Assigned Junior Date: Juniors are invited to campus

Monday, August 5, 2024, from 8 am - 12 pm Assigned Sophomore Date: Sophomores

are invited to campus

Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 8 am - 12 pm Assigned Freshmen Date: Freshmen are invited to campus

Monday, August 12, 2024: First Day of School

Please take a moment to review your schedule. Cheyenne High School will permit schedule changes to elective choices prior to the first day of school. Core content classes are required to meet graduation requirements and may not be changed. Once school begins, schedule changes will only be permitted under the following circumstances:

1. Student has taken the course (posted on transcript).

2. Student does not meet the prerequisite of the course.

3. Student needs a course for graduation and it was not scheduled.

If you wish to chose a different elective than the elective scheduled, you may meet with a counselor on your assigned date to discuss elective availability and review schedule change options.

Schedule changes will not be permitted after the assigned date.

Cheyenne High School provides a Chromebook for school use to all students. Transfer students and incoming Freshmen may pick up their assigned Chromebook during their grade level's assigned date. Returning students should have the Chromebook that was assigned to them last school year.

Chromebooks will be distributed out of room 501.

Students must provide their Student ID number to receive a Chromebook.

Incoming Seniors: Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 8 am-12 pm

Incoming Juniors: Friday, August 2, 2024 from 8 am-12 pm

Incoming Sophomores: Monday, August 5, 2024 from 8 am-12 pm

Incoming Freshmen: Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 8 am-12 pm

Lost Chromebooks will result in a student fine ranging between $325 and $500.

Beginning in the 2024–2025 school year, students in grades 6–12 must wear an identification badge on a Clark County School District (CCSD) secondary school campus. Returning Cheyenne students may continue using last year's ID badge. New students or students who have lost their identification badges may receive a new badge on their grade level's assigned date. Students who have last year's ID, do not need a new ID at this time.
