PTSA Sally Fitzgerald Scholarship
Congratulations to Jack Burke who won one of three Sally Fitzgerald Scholarships. Sponsored by the NFCPTA and made possible by donations from local PTA and PTSAs, the scholarship is awarded to students who have advocated either for themselves, another person, or a cause. Jack has spent his whole life advocating for those with Neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow anywhere on the body, including the brain and spinal cord. Over the years, Jack co-founded CureNFwithJack to raise money, awareness and even help fund clinical trials to help treat NF. Jack plans to attend Kennesaw State University.
