Important Attendance Information
Afternoon Transportation Changes
If your student needs to go home a different way than their USUAL form of transportation, please fill out the Afternoon Transportation Form located HERE and on our website under Quick Links. The form closes every day at 1pm after which time we will notify classroom teachers of any changes. Thank you for not emailing or calling the teacher directly, as these messages often go overlooked during instruction time throughout the school day. You do NOT need to use this form if you are checking your child out early.
WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?
Please visit www.mealviewer.com to access our menus.
New Classroom Donations Drop Off Cart
If your child is unable to bring in donations for the classroom there will be a cart outside the front office for you to drop off the classroom donations. All items must be labeled with the name of the teacher the item is for. If the item is perishable and requires immediate refrigeration please stop by the front office. Please email the classroom teacher once the classroom donation(s) are dropped off. We will not interrupt the learning environment to take classroom donations to classrooms or call the classroom to send your child to the office to retrieve any items. The cart will be moved inside every day at 1:45pm. **Please note: this cart is not for forgotten lunches, water bottles or eyeglasses. Those items will still be left inside on the small cart in the vestibule.
Calling all WATCH D.O.G.S.!
The NHE WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program is gearing up for the 24-25 school year. WATCH D.O.G.S. is a national program dedicated to involving more male leaders in local schools, and New Hope is thrilled to be a participant! WATCH D.O.G.S are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other father-figures who volunteer for at least one day each year at New Hope. During the day, WATCH D.O.G.S. may read and work on flash cards with students, play at recess, eat lunch with students, watch the school entrances and hallways, assist with carpool and/or any other assigned activities where they actively engage with not only their own child(ren), but other students as well.
This is a great way to get to know your New Hope Community and help our school be a better place for everyone. We’d love to have you join us! If you are interested in serving our school as a WATCH D.O.G. dad, please be on the lookout for the sign-up that will be sent via messenger email on Monday, September 9th at 8:00 AM.

Interested in becoming a mentor in Forsyth County Schools? This is a great opportunity to connect with students in our schools and provide them with a positive support system.
