Hello Woodsy Owls,
All of the students looked so dapper on Friday at pictures. For those who may have missed this last Friday, November 19th will be our make-up day for school pictures.
Just a reminder that dogs are not allowed on campus. Service animals are the only exception. If you have your cute little Fido with you at drop-off or pick-up, please stay on the park side on the fence while waiting for your student. We appreciate everyone doing what we can to keep our kiddos safe.
Want to thank a special SHS staff member? Just click here : https://forms.gle/r74BKKpoxKFFM1f98 and fill out a form to let them know what you think they are doing that makes SHS the special place it is. Our special staff deserve to know just how great they are.
Thank-you to everyone who has given input on the parking lot. It looks like when I removed my signs, people organically knew what to do to increase the flow and keep everyone safe. I will continue to monitor it AND take input form the community. Thanks a ton to those who have been so gracious about not blocking cars in. Kindness counts, and our kiddos are always watching. Your extra effort is seen, and our littles will replicate what they see. Just know that a year from now when your child does something unbelievably thoughtful and kind, it very likely is because they watched you and what you are doing now. As the famous writer James Baldwin said, “Children have never been very good at listening to their elders, but they have never failed to imitate them.”
Have a great day!

Sierra Hills Elementary School October Menus
Please remember to let your little know what is on the menu. Sometimes, they change their mind when they get to school and find out that they really love or don't really like what the daily offering is.
As always, in California these meals are free to all students.
