Sports Preview Night - Tonight!
Are you new to Glacier Peak or an incoming Freshman? There is a Sports Preview Night on tonight, Monday, May 13 at 7 p.m. in the Commons. Come talk with coaches and meet players from all the different teams.
Fall Sports sign-up on Final Forms starts May 1, 2024. Go to the Glacier Peak website or click this link. To participate in any summer practices or camps athletes must have a current physical. The physical lasts for two years. Please DO NOT send a hard copy. Please take a photo or scan it, then upload it into Final Forms. There are a few documents that require electronic signatures from parents and athletes. You can select multiple sports if you are unsure which ones to participate in.

Yearbook Sales
Yearbooks go back on sale Monday, May 20 for $75 at the bookkeeping office during regular bookkeeping hours or online.
- Students, please check the fines list posted outside of the bookkeeping office. If there are any fines on your account, you will not be able to pick up your yearbook on May 31 during Field Day. Avoid the long lines on Field Day and check the list today!
- Fines can be paid on-line at https://wa-snohomish.intouchreceipting.com or at the bookkeeping office during regular bookkeeping hours.
2024-2025 high school students - Are you interested in being part of a Student Advisory Council to the School Board?
Calling all Snohomish School District high school students! Are you interested in serving as a representative on the Student Advisory Council for the School Board? We have Student Advisory Council representative positions (students in grades 10 through 12) open for the 2024-2025 school year and invite you to submit your application by Monday, May 20, 2024. Students selected to the Student Advisory Council will receive community service hours for their involvement. Click here for more information.

Glacier Peak DECA will be having an End of the Year sale of Grizzly Gear, during the opening night of the show. This is a great opportunity to get Grizzly Gear! The Art show will be displayed through Thursday, May 30.

Senior Prom
Senior Prom is Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the APEX Art and Cultural Center in Everett from 7:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale in the bookkeepers office May 6. If you are bringing a guest from outside of Glacier Peak, please pick up a dance pass application from the main office before you purchase your tickets.
Senior Exit Survey
Class of 2024! Please complete this senior exit survey. We use this to learn about your plans after high school, seniors request their final transcript through the survey, and you self-report all scholarships. Scholarships reported are celebrated at the Senior Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 30. If you have any questions please reach out to kari.winckler@sno.wednet.edu
Parent led Grad Night Party
The parent led Grad Night Party Committee will be at school during lunches for tickets sales on Mondays each week. Effective February 1, the ticket prices will increase to $225; exclusive Grad Night Party t-shirts will be limited availability. Questions?

Dance Team Tryouts
Glacier Peak High School’s competitive dance team is selected by a tryout process in May of the previous school year. These students are advanced dancers who are committed to expanding their technique, knowledge and professionalism in a range of dance styles, including hip-hop, jazz and pom. Click here for the Dance Packet. The Dance packet is to be filled out and returned to the Main office or to Coach Tracy by May 21 in order to try out on May 22.

PM at the Peak
PM at the Peak is an opportunity for students to get specific support in their classes. It is not simply a ‘study hall’. While students are welcome to use the time to study and work independently, it is designed to provide students an opportunity to ask for, and receive help from teachers on their homework, essays, or use the computers.

Helpful attendance reminders
To maintain accurate attendance records we would like to provide these helpful reminders and tips for reporting an absence, a late arrival or request for an early dismissal. Choose from one of the four easy ways to report absences.
- Call the attendance line 360-563-7505
- Enter a request in Family Access/Skyward
- Email gph-attendance@sno.wednet.edu
- A written note signed by a parent/guardian or medical/dental provider.
- Please provide your student's first and last name, the date of the absence and a reason for the absence. Please spell the name if needed.
- An absence will be considered excused when we receive notification from a parent or legal guardian in the attendance office within 48 hours of the absence.
