College & Career Search: Accessing SCOIR - for Parents/Guardians
What is SCOIR?
SCOIR is the new one-stop online system that provides students with college and career planning tools to use during their time at Westview. In this guide, we will go over the tools that SCOIR has to offer. Please note that SCOIR will be replacing our current system, Naviance, as it will be applicable to the incoming 9th-12th graders. For Parents
Parents can be connected to SCOIR through their student's accounts. Students can invite parents to SCOIR through a feature in the student's profile. For more information on how parents can use SCOIR, check out the video below:

How Do I Login?
Students can type in scoir.com or click the link to arrive at the SCOIR homepage. Once there, click on the blue "Login" button at the top right of the screen. If students already have an account, enter the appropriate credentials and sign in. If students do not have a login, they can create one by clicking "Don't have an account?" at the bottom of the login screen. This will take students through a step-by-step process to set up an account.

SCOIR Dashboard
Dashboard
This will be your view once you log into your SCOIR account. You have the chance to search and add colleges to your list based on your preferences.
Personal and Academic Interests
The dashboard has sections for personal interests and academic focuses that are individualized for you.
"My Colleges" Search Tool
"My Colleges" tab directs you to SCOIR's college search tool where you can enter various colleges that you are interested or find colleges that are a good fit for you.
My Profile
Overview and Personal Bio
This section will show relevant test scores for your reference as you explore different post-secondary options. The Personal Bio is similar to a resume in that it is your chance to show experience you've gained so far.
Activities, Achievements and College Preferences
Activities and Achievements is where to input all extracurriculars you are involved in and any special recognition you have achieved. This includes sports, clubs, organizations and community service.
My Drive
My Drive gives you the chance to upload documents and links into one place. This also gives you the chance to share documents with your counselor or parent/guardian.
PrinciplesYou
PrinciplesYou was designed to help people gain the self-awareness and other-awareness. This knowledge is critical to making good decisions and accomplishing things.
