Hello Davis Drive Elementary families,
While it was inconvenient to have a workday on Friday, we can all be thankful that we did not get as much rain and devastation as the mountains of NC.
On October 7th and 8th we will be having a DDE Information Night. The flyer below will give you the date to attend.
Here is the schedule for both nights:
- 5:00-5:30p in gym- Admin discussing School Improvement Goals and the PTA sharing their goals and how they support DDE.
- 5:40-6:10p Information Sessions
- ESL
- How to read your child's MClass report
- What happens in Specials?
- Success strategies to help your child achieve
- Social/Emotional Health
- 6:20p-7:00p- Classroom session
- 7:10p-7:40p- Principal/AP Roundtable

Change of Transportation Policy
Report transportation changes by 1:15pm on the day of the change by calling the Front Office at (919) 387-2130. Do not send a Talking Points message or email to your child’s classroom teacher to report a transportation change.
Early Dismissal Policy
Students who need to be picked up early from school must be checked out by 1:30pm. Please send a Talking Points message or email to your child’s teacher to alert them of the early dismissal plan.
