Weekly Message
Dear Sippican Elementary School Community,
It is our hope that all of our families are enjoying the weekend. We are excited to welcome our students back to the school building tomorrow.
MCAS testing is wrapping up this week. We are so proud of our students' hard work thus far!
We hope families can join the Zoom presentation tomorrow regarding the new IEP form - the registration is below.

New IEP Form Presentation
In September, our Districts will begin the transition to the new IEP form from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Our Student Services team has been attending trainings and preparing for this upcoming transition. IEP forms will be converted during the 2024-2025 school year. On May 14th, in collaboration with SMEC (Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative), we invite you to join us remotely for a presentation from Allan Blume regarding the new document. Mr. Blume has dedicated his career to enhancing the educational experiences of children with special needs. Register here.

Band & Chorus – Year End
Music students have MANY PERFORMANCES in the final weeks of the school year.
Please email or write us (Hannah Moore or Patty Richard) if you have any conflicts, as we will be planning to see all students in the program. Details always available at Sippicanband.com.
GRADE 4 CONCERT
May 15, 2024 at 6:30 PM in the Sippican School Multi-Purpose Room. The entire 4th grade will sing and the band will perform.
DRESS: White shirt, black shorts, trousers or skirt
SPRING CONCERT
May 22 at 6:30 PM – Grade 5 & 6 Band, Festival Band, Monday & Tuesday Jazz , Concert Choir
Memorial Day Parade
All grade 4, 5 and 6 band students.
Parade rehearsal #1 is Monday, May 13th at 8:00am in the Multi-Purpose Room - Don't miss it!
Parade rehearsal #2 is Tuesday, May 17th at 8:00am on the bus loop.

June 1 – Saturday – ALL DAY. Festival Band & Concert Choir
BAND BLAST
June 10, 2024 – 5 to 8PM
Front Lawn at Sippican School
Grade 4 plays at 6:30 and at 8PM
It’s the best party ever – this year the theme is Mardi Gras!!!
We will have a wonderful New Orleans style Jazz Band performing 5 – 6:30.

Back again for another all-school performance, Marcus Monteiro and company will wow us with their amazing tunes, teaching students key points for stellar performances!
Grade 3 Plimouth/Patucket - May 17
We are proud to announce another free field trip for our third grade! If you have a third grader and if you would like to chaperone this trip, be sure to sign up before May 10. Register a student here. Register to chaperone here.
