Argyle ISD has announced a School Funding Referendum (VATRE) set for November 5, 2024, aiming to address vital budget needs for staff and students. The referendum, approved unanimously by the school board on August 19, focuses on three core areas: increasing teacher and staff pay, managing growing class sizes, and enhancing student support programs.

If passed, the referendum will generate an estimated $2.5 million through a 7.7-cent increase in the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate. This will ensure the district can meet critical operational needs, including competitive staff salaries and improved campus resources.

Early voting runs from October 21 to November 1. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.

Argyle Cheer invites our entire community to join hands in support of breast cancer research in the month of October.

This year's design was created to wear to ALL events district wide -

from Varsity Volleyball Pink Out to the AMS pep rally and from our Pink Out Night at the October 11th football game to campus themes throughout the month.

And we love that this design can be worn far beyond this Fall!

THE FORM ABOVE IS FOR REPORTING AN ABSENCE FOR A 6TH-GRADE STUDENT ONLY.

• Please complete one form per student. If an absence is due to an appointment, you will need to provide an appointment/doctor note within 3 days of the absence to the ARGYLE 6TH GRADE CENTER attendance clerk by bringing it to the office. You can send your student to the office to drop these notes as well.
• Please remember if your child is vomiting or running a fever, they must be sickness-free for 24 hours before returning to school.

IF YOUR STUDENT DOES NOT ATTEND ARGYLE 6TH GRADE CENTER, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FORM. PLEASE REPORT THEIR ABSENCE TO THE APPROPRIATE CAMPUS. THANK YOU.

All medication will need to be labeled with your student's name in the original packaging including the prescription label AND/OR over-the-counter labeled. Please complete the attached informational form that applies to your student in advance and return it to the 6th Grade Center.
