Cyber Safety Presentation

On Monday, February 24th, Deputy Barber from the Clinton County Sheriff's Office will be presenting information to our students to help them keep safe online. Topics will include:

Sextortion/Dangers and Consequences of Sending Inappropriate Pictures
Personal Information to Avoid Sharing
Password Safety
How to Spot Online Fraud and Scams
How to Report Dangerous Online Situations

Deputy Barber's presentation will be similar to the FBI sextoration and cyber crimes presentation our students had a couple years ago. Those links can be found below for you to preview. Trimester 2 Exams Schedule

Please make every effort to attend on exam days. It is the practice of SJMS not to give exams early to preserve the integrity of the assessments. Students who miss exam days can make arrangements with their teachers to make them up at the beginning of the 3rd Trimester. Thank you!

Attendance

As we work through cold and flu season please remember a few things:

Please report your child's absence(s) either to 989-227-4344 or msattendance@sjredwings.org
Please give the office as much advance notice as possible if you are picking up your child early. This minimizes disruption to classes and allows the office to have them ready to go.
Encourage your child to check Google Classroom. Many teachers keep very detailed and current information on daily activities.
Monitor your child's progress on Infinite Campus via the parent portal.
The clinic in the MS is for brief rests and illnesses only. Students will be returning to class (if able) or will need to be picked up if they are ill.
