Greetings Seniors and Senior Parents,

As we are approaching the end of the school year, there are various steps to complete before senior graduation. Please be advised, all of the information in this newsletter can be found on our school website.

SENIOR FEES, DUES, AND FINES

One of these steps is the settling of all fees, dues, or fines on record for seniors here at Quartz Hill High School.

All financial obligations must be settled before final checkout from QHHS to receive caps and gowns, and to participate in any graduation ceremonies.

An email will be emailed to seniors who are showing a record of fines, dues, or fees owed to Quartz Hill High School. This list is by student ID number, which corresponds to any financial balance owed. THIS LIST WILL CONTINUE TO BE UPDATED, SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR IT FOR ANY CHANGES.

The school accountant's office will be available to process payments of fees/fines/dues, as well as the student store. These offices will be open for students during snack, lunch, and after school. Parents and guardians may come during the school day to the accountant's office to pay any fees/fines/dues owed.

Our student store is open for payment processing Monday through Friday. They accept CASH or credit card payments. Please email gaguilar-flores@avhsd.org or lcanizales@avhsd.org for payment questions. If you are disputing any financial charges, please email Mrs. Aguilar-Flores at gaguilar-flores@avhsd.org.

If you are disputing any library fees, and have questions about these fees, you can email Mrs. Nancy Heming at nheming@avhsd.org.

ALL FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS SHOULD BE SETTLED BY MAY 28, 2024

GRAD NITE-MAGIC MOUNTAIN-May 17th

Grad Nite at Magic Mountain - Check-in time is 5:00 so we can leave by 6:30.

SENIOR FINALS

All senior finals will be held May 22 and 23

GRADUATION PRACTICE

Wednesday June 5 Mandatory Graduation Practice: The 4:30 pm ceremony checks in at 8:45 in the Big Gym, 7:00 ceremony checks in at noon in the Big Gym.

June 5th - Senior Assembly - at 11:00 in the Big Gym for all Seniors, in between practices.

June 5 - Senior Sunset - 6-8 pm - entrance through the Home Side of the Stadium, this is a FREE event for QHHS Graduating Seniors.

June 6- Thursday Graduation Day- times: 4:30PM and 7:00PM.

June 10-14: Mon-Fri Diploma Distribution – 9:00 am to 12:00pm.

Records Office (Need current photo I.D. )

Seniors and early grads will need a QHHS 2023-2024 ID for all of these events. Pictures of IDs will not be excepted. If a senior or early grad does not have a current ID they need to purchase one or they will not be allowed to attend End-of-the-year Senior Activities.
