WFS Spirit Day
We are continuing our tradition of a school-wide Spirit Day on Friday, May 24th which is an early dismissal day for our students. Please make every effort to allow your child(ren) to follow their typical dismissal routine. This will greatly assist the office staff with dismissal on this busy day. Thank you so much for your anticipated cooperation.

To help make our day fun and COLORFUL we ask students to showcase the following colors:
Pre-K: Purple
Kindergarten: Blue/Yellow Tie-Dye
First Grade: WHITE
Second Grade: YELLOW
Third Grade: GREEN
Fourth Grade: RED
Fifth Grade: BLUE
Parents are invited to stop by this special outdoor event. All parent spectators are expected to check-in at a designated outdoor location. We ask that all spectators remain separated from any organized activity or class gathering to allow our students to enjoy their time with their teachers and classmates. Our students will begin this is special outdoor event at 9am.
The tentative rain date for this event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28th. If that date is needed, more information will follow.

Just A Reminder - Student Absences
When your child is absent from school a note from a parent/guardian is needed for documentation purposes. Thank you for your help in maintaining our records!
WFS Kindergarten Registration ~ 2024-2025
Kindergarten registration is now open! All students are registered through an online registration process. Please click the link below for information on how to register your child.
***In order to be registered for Kindergarten, a child must be 5 years
of age on or before October 1 of the school year.***
From the Business Office: Transportation Waiver
If you would like to waive transportation for your child(ren) to and from school, please fill out this form and send it to your child's school. This will remove your child's access to the assigned bus. If, at any time, you need to reinstate transportation for your child(ren), please fill out this form and send it to your child's school. You will be notified as soon as possible that bussing is available.
This does not pertain to extra-curricular activities or school trips.

Summer EBT Information for district families
This summer, all district students who are approved for Federal Free or Reduced Lunch in the 2023-2024 school year will receive $120 in Summer EBT funds in the form of a physical EBT card from the State of NJ. If you have not applied for F/R lunch yet and think you may be eligible, please click here to apply. This is a new, permanent, program aimed to reduce childhood hunger by providing families with a grocery benefit to feed their children while on summer break.
