Oregon Connections for Educators
Hosted by the Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub
Introduction to Oregon Connections
Have students ever asked you why they need to know something? Do you wish you had more tools and resources to help students connect what they are learning in school to potential future careers? Do you wish you could organize fieldtips and guest speakers, but don't have the time and resources to organize these?
You have free access to an amazing career-education tool called Oregon Connections through the Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub - we would like to share with you (in an hour of your time) how you can find solutions to these questions.
Join us on September 29th at 3:30pm for the first (or next) step in your journey to using Oregon Connections to provide relevant, career-connected inspiration to your students - during COVID 19 distance learning and beyond.
In this one-hour training, we will provide a brief overview of the four main ways to engage students with the Oregon Connections platform. Following this introductory training, there will be future opportunities to take a deeper dive into the world of Oregon Connections and learn more about implementation in your instruction.
Everyone will leave the training with a platinum license for full access to Oregon Connections opportunities.
Interested? Complete the Oregon Connections Introductory Training form to RSVP to sign up for our virtual training, hosted via Zoom. Once you complete the sign up, you will receive an email and calendar invitation for the online Zoom training.
