Varsity has a strong showing at the UC Tournament this week but fell short of making the finals after the semifinal loss to Bishops (who ended up winning the tournament). It was a beautiful weekend for some hockey and I had many coaches and players from other teams come up to me throughout the tournament saying "The team plays so well that they make field hockey look fun!" and we were the team everyone was watching. No matter the result, I think those comments speaks volumes to our culture and the hard work that everyone is putting in.

Welcome to League Week! There is a pasta party on Tuesday to celebrate and prepare. Our first two opponents this week are Torrey Pines and San Marcos. Please fill out a green slip and turn it in NO LATER than Thursday if you are not taking the bus on Friday against San Marcos.

JV: Games are one 30 minute period with no halftime/timeouts. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, zero for loss. Differentials will only be +/- 3 goals. Your schedule is a little wonky because Pool A has only 3 teams instead of 4. I've done my best to explain outcomes in the schedule below, but we will go over this throughout the next two weeks if you are confused.
