Some upcoming events:

Scholastic Book Fair

• The Book Fair will be open from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Monday and Tuesday and from 8:00am to 3:00pm on Wednesday. Please note that students must be with a parent to shop in the morning before or after school.

• Braemar's Terry Fox Run will be the afternoon of Wednesday, September 25th. Donations will be collected all week. Thanks to all the parent volunteers that make the run possible.
• Please ensure your child's Walking Field Trip is completed (in School Cask Online) so they may run off of school grounds.

Staff Collaboration Day (shortened day for students)

• Wednesday, September 25th is an NVSD Staff Collaboration Day. Students will be dismissed at 2 pm.

BPAC Meeting

• Braemar's PAC will hold their first meeting September 26 and 7 pm in the Library

Orange Shirt Day

• On September 30th, people across Canada wear orange and participate in Orange Shirt Day events. We invite all students and staff to wear orange this Friday, September 27th to recognize and raise awareness about the history of residential schools in Canada. Wearing orange is a way to show your support for Survivors and their families.

Please support our ORCHARD HARVEST FUNDRAISER featuring healthy, premium Okanagan apples, freshly harvested and direct from the grower. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of classroom materials, new sports equipment and various events, programs, and performances for the students throughout the school year.

Our school has been selected to be part of an exciting, environmentally-friendly initiative for ordering school photos! Instead of receiving an order form with proofs, you will instead receive your proofs only, along with instructions to order online using Edge’s new ordering site. Online ordering not only helps to reduce wasted paper, but it also unlocks access to free shipping and innovative specialty products that are not available via the paper order form!

The proofs were sent home today and online ordering is now open!

We are reaching out to seek your support for a cause that will make a lasting impact on our community – the completion of our playground's replacement web climbing structure.

As you may know, playgrounds play a crucial role in children's development, offering a space where they can build important social and physical skills through play. However, due to limited funding, the completion of this vital structure has been delayed as we continue to pursue grant opportunities.

In the meantime, we are monitoring the existing play structure to ensure it remains safe for student use. Additionally, we are looking for additional grant or donation opportunities. If you know of anyone who would like to donate, here is the link for the Braemar PAC SCO fundraising:
