Message from the CAMP Team
We hope that you are all doing well during this trying time. We know there are many changes happening at the moment, but the most important part of all of this is that you all remain safe and healthy. We are still here to help with guidance and support as you navigate through your higher education experience-- it might look a little different with meetings through zoom, but please don't hesitate to reach out. You can always call or text us too!
An email was sent out Friday regarding the option for you to opt in to pass/fail grading for Spring 2020 courses. Before you choose to take this route, make sure that you talk with your primary advisor to ensure that whichever option you choose will be the most beneficial for you. For those wanting to raise your gpa's; are thinking about grad/medical/law school; or wanting to get back into good standing (above 2.0 gpa), the pass/fail grading might not be the best option. Anyhow, please think it through and ask those questions. The deadline to opt in for this will be May 1st. The deadline to withdraw from courses has been extended to May 1, 2020 as well.
As we come to the end of National Farmworker Awareness Week today and celebrate Cesar Chavez Day today, we invite you to take part in a Kahoot Challenge! See flyer below with more information. We leave you with this quote from labor leader and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez, "We draw our strength from the very despair in which we have been forced to live. We shall endure."
Take care everyone y "Si se Puede!"

She's looking for additional people for her project. Whether it be students, professors, or staff she is looking to speak with more people who are a part of the LatinX or Hispanic community and was wondering if you wall would be willing to pass on her information to anyone who may be interested in speaking with her.
