PTC Wizard Instructions
For November 2024 Parent Teacher Conferences
We are using PTC Wizard for Parent Teacher Conferences
PTC Wizard is an NYC Schools approved vendor for setting up Parent Teacher Conference appointments. We appreciate your patience as we all navigate this new system.
Only core teachers of Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies and PE will show up for most students. Please understand that classes such as Career Exploration, Computer Science Discoveries, and Math Concepts are taught by teachers of Core subjects and they are available only for their Core Subjects during conferences. Feel free to contact them directly for a discussion/meeting about those non-core classes.
You will need to create an account in PTC Wizard, add your child (with their OSIS number), then click "Event" to choose which day you want. You will then click the "teacher" button, choose which teachers you want to see, then click on the available times. You will then click on "Agenda," which is a list of appointments, then click "Confirm Agenda."
Once everything is done, you can click on the little envelope icon and have your appointment schedule emailed to you and you can open that email and click the links on the day of your conferences.

Conferences are November 21 and 22 on Google Meets
Parent Teacher Conferences are Thursday, November 21 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Friday, November 22 from 12:25 pm to 2:25 pm. They are four (4) minutes long.
Meetings will be on the Google Meets platform.
Friday, November 22 will be a half day of school and all students will be dismissed at 11:15 am.
Click CREATE ACCOUNT at the bottom
DO NOT use the Google or Microsoft single sign-on options when creating your account
Click the red button “Create Account” and enter your first name, last name, email and a password in the resulting window, then click Register. Write down the password so you don't forget it.
Add a Student
Once you are registered, you will be asked to add a student. Enter your child's OSIS number. Do this for each of your children at WJPS. If you are not asked to add a student, go to the Account Settings on the top right side and add there.
After you add a student, log out then log back in.
Click EVENT at the top of the page then ADD Meetings
Choose which day you want. (This is a sample from March.)
Click the TEACHERS File Cabinet Icon
Your child's teachers will appear here. Click on the names of the teachers you want conferences with, then click the Teacher File Cabinet icon to "close it."
After you close the Teacher File Cabinet, all the available times for each teacher will show up and you can click on the time slots for your appointments.

Appointments are four (4) minutes long.
Grow your list of appointments in the "Agenda"
As you make appointments, they show up on your "Agenda."

Viewing Your Meetings and Links
Once you Confirm Your Agenda, and email will be sent to you with your list of appointments and the links to them. Even if you forget to Confirm Your Agenda, your appointments will still be there, but you will need to log into PTC Wizard to see them.
