A Message from the Principal
Next week is Homecoming (HOCO) Week. See below for the dress up day themes. There is a slight change as the high school swapped two of the days from what I was originally given. On Friday, there is no school. We hope to see you all at the HOCO Parade.
During HOCO week, we will have a HOUSE CHALLENGE Coin Collection that will benefit Helping Hands of Celina in honor of Jennifer Cawlfield.
The week after HOCO is Red Ribbon Week which also has a dress up day schedule.
On Halloween, we will wear costumes to school, but please make sure the costume is school appropriate in style, length, etc and PE friendly. The following will not be allowed:
masks
blow up costumes
blood and guts
props including weapons
Early Voting starts on Monday, October 21st. You'll find our Special Election VATRE as the last item on your ballot. To understand how Proposition A could affect Celina ISD schools, please watch this message from Superintendent Dr. Maglisceau.

Morning Drop Off
A few reminders about morning carpool to make sure your child is in the building on time:
Front and back drop off is open each morning, with the back opening once buses are gone.
A good rule of thumb is to be in the line by 7:40 so your child is in the building on time.
As soon as your car is along the curb, your child needs to exit. Do not wait until you get close to the door.
If your child needs help opening the door, turn on your hazard lights so a staff member knows you need help. At this point in the year, they should be getting more independent in opening their car door.
Afternoon Pick Up
Once your child is in the car, please take down your number so we know you are good to go!
