Kindness Grams

Good morning, Sea Dragons!

Lin Howe Student Council will be selling Kindness Grams for $1 next week from Tuesday- Friday. They will be sold at the kinder gate and the main gate from 8:30-8:40 AM. Kindness Grams will be delivered to the classes on Friday, February 14th.

Rams Readers

Ride with Rampage is a key component of the Rams Readers program, which encourages students to explore the excitement that reading can provide while helping improve literacy rates among students throughout Los Angeles.

PTA Equity Committee Inclusion Contest

PTA Equity Committee Inclusion Contest

Got an idea for a fun way to highlight a group? We want to hear it! You could win a free pizza for your family at the next Lin Howe Movie Night if we choose your idea.

Lin Howe's PTA Equity Committee is always looking to expand our reach and make sure everyone's voice is heard. We're interested in hearing from you for new groups to highlight and creative ideas to represent those groups as authentically as possible.
It's easier than you think to inspire. Simply email linhoweequity@gmail.com with your unique answer to the following questions along with any contact info you're comfortable sharing.
We'll pick a winner by February 15, 2025:
1. What group would you like to see highlighted by the PTA Equity Committee (ex. Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, etc)?
2. What's a creative event or activity that would highlight that group at school and celebrate what you love about them (ex. Lunar New Year celebration, Black History Month Bingo, etc)?
3. Would you be interested in helping us plan this? (not required to win)
The Equity Committee also invites you to visit the front display case and celebrate Valentine's Day with the Heart Affirmation Station, created by Amber Lannazo!
