St. Paddy’s Plunge
Second Annual St. Paddy’s Plunge Returns in Houghton’s Pond Park on March 15
The Milton Rotary Club would like to invite you to the second annual St. Paddy’s Plunge and be “Freezin’ for a Reason” on Saturday, March 15 at Houghton’s Pond Beach, Blue Hills Reservation at 840 Hillside Street, Milton, MA.
We are thrilled to announce the triumphant return of the Milton Rotary Club’s St. Paddy’s Plunge! The event will be held at Houghton’s Pond on March 15, with the plunge at 11 a.m. The Greater Boston Food Bank estimates that nearly 2 million Massachusetts residents are food insecure. Last year, we raised over $8,000 with the generous support of individuals and local businesses. The Plunge proceeds are split between two local non-profit organizations that support our local populations. The Milton Community Food Pantry provides vital food assistance to local families in need, operating on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at the Blue Hills Methodist Church on Blue Hills Parkway. The Milton Rotary Foundation fosters the ideal of service to the community and funds Milton High School scholarships and youth programming. Brave souls with warm hearts will run, jump, and dive into the chilly waters of Houghton’s Pond on March 15 to raise funds to directly benefit the local Milton community. Registration begins at 10 a.m., with the Plunge at 11 a.m.
It’s easy to get involved - simply visit: https://givebutter.com/paddys_plunge_2025. From there you will be able to form a team, invite your family and friends to join, create your own personal plunge page, and send it out to your contacts – all with a few clicks of the mouse! #paddysplunge
