Football Frenzy at CSHS
Half Day for Students (Dismissal 10:55 a.m.)
Tractor Parade
Wood TV 8's Football Frenzy Tailgate is Coming to CSHS!
On September 27, Wood TV 8 will bring its Football Frenzy Tailgate morning show to Cedar Springs High School!
The morning crew will be at Red Hawk Stadium, and select students invited by our athletic department will join them on the field from 5:45 a.m. to 7 a.m. Throughout the week leading up to the event, the crew will be creating special stories about our school, which will air during the tailgate broadcast.
To add to the excitement, the Athletic Leadership Council is hosting a Community-Wide Can Drive from September 23 to September 26. This friendly competition between all the schools that the Frenzy Crew will visit is a great way to show our Red Hawk pride! You can drop off donations at the high school’s main foyer between 7:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or at any sporting event at Red Hawk Stadium during the week of September 16 to September 20.
Let’s come together as a community and make this event unforgettable! Go Red Hawks!

Important Reminder: Parking Permits Required
Students, if you park on campus, you must have the new parking permit that hangs from your rearview mirror. Permits are $10.
For security reasons, it's important for us to identify the vehicles in our parking lot during the school day. There have been instances where vehicles were left running, damaged, or needed to be moved. The permits help us quickly connect with the right student when necessary.
Club of the Month: Fishing Club 🎣
Our Fishing Club is making waves! With around 30 members, this enthusiastic group meets every Wednesday from 2:30 to 3 p.m. They participate in tournaments every weekend, exploring lakes near and far, including Little White Fish Lake and Muskellunge Lake. Their favorite catches are largemouth bass and smallmouth bass.
The club's best catch so far? A 4-pound smallmouth bass caught by Ben Twiss at Blue Lake! 🏆
New members are always welcome! If you’re interested in joining, please contact Mr. Vree for more information. Let’s go fishing! 🎣
