The Joy of Books
The Joy of Books, a poem by former Liberty 7th grader Amirrah O. - Do you have a poem you want to share? See Mrs. Touzeau
What is reading to you? Reading may be a release for some, maybe a bother for others. But for me, reading is the light during a dark night. People could even consider it a flashlight. It helps me unload and immerse into other than life. It's a good way to escape and be different world than the messy one we are already in. The feeling of reading is especially enjoyable when you find that perfect book, that one really good book that's noticeable on the shelves, and it is calling out to your eyes making it almost impossible to just pass it by. And that same book will always be as good as the first time you decided to give it a chance and open its pages. So whether or not you like reading, or if you find it a hassle. Don’t knock it ‘till you try it, because sometimes there's a whole adventurous world waiting for you to arrive.
