Don't Forget to Dress for the Weather
As we are getting into the cold months, please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. We are going to assume that the coat your child is wearing to school is the one they will wear to recess. We play outside as long as the temperature is above 20 degrees (including wind chill). If your child is in need of a coat, gloves and/or hat, please reach out to the office.

Checking in with Mrs. Dannemiller!
November’s Author of the Month was Lois Ehlert! Students enjoyed many autumn themed books by Ehlert during library this month. Leaf Man was very popular with her interesting approach to the book’s pictures, using leaves to create animals and other objects. We talked about how illustrators can use many creative ways to make a book’s pictures. Some students thought it would be fun to be an illustrator “when they grow up”. Lois Ehlert books would be a great choice when checking out books at the public library!
Books make the best gifts! This holiday if you are searching for great book titles or authors to gift to your loved ones, please don’t hesitate to reach out for suggestions at mindy.dannemiller@chippewaschools.com Researching new children’s books is one of my favorite things to do and I would love to help!
Happy Holidays! Mrs. Dannemiller
