Check out this Wakelet from Matt Miller's Ditch That Textbook Digital Summit curated by Holly Clark. The focus is How to Ace Student AI Literacy in Schools and includes a variety of resources, articles, and frameworks to support student AI literacy.
NotebookLM Interactive Mode Update
Check out the new update to NotebookLM! The audio summary tool has added an option to join the podcast and interrupt the speakers as a 'guest caller'. Try out 'interactive mode' in beta within the audio summary tool!
5 AI Extensions for Teachers
Check out Google Guru, John Sowash's list of AI extensions recommended for teachers. Keep in mind, all of these tools have freemium models and be sure to check out all privacy settings before utilizing any extensions.

MACUL Conference
REMC AI Community of Practice Cohorts
Join an AI Community of Practice cohort to engage in learning, collaboration and networking. Cohorts will meet regularly, using interactive workshops, resource sharing, and peer-to-peer discussions that focus on the possible uses and impacts of AI around teacher practice. Participants will develop practical applications for generative AI through a professional network that fosters ongoing reflection and innovation. Those who register will choose one focus cohort to join: personalizing learning, reimagining assessments, or student engagement. All cohorts will include integration of ethical and responsible use of AI. Cohorts begin the week of January 20th and participants can earn 10 SCECH's. Registration is now open.
Code.org: CS Fundamentals Intro Workshop (Kdg-5)
Computer Science Fundamentals is a Code.org curriculum designed for students in kindergarten through fifth grade (K-5). Each grade-level unit is between 12-20 lessons long and is built for flexible implementation. During the workshop, participants will learn from certified Code.org facilitators, participate in a model lesson, learn the management system, and dive into the lessons.
There are virtual options to choose from throughout the year. Sign up today for a series that works best with your schedule and share this information with your colleagues.

Check out the free upcoming REMC Virtual Courses that provide an easy, convenient way for teachers to connect and collaborate while reducing time and cost.
- No registration or SCECH fee
- 10 SCECH's offered
- Open to all Michigan school personnel
Each course is open for three weeks and consists of two one-hour “live” webinars that are recorded and available for viewing later and eight hours of resource review, assessment developments, and written reflection.
