Alongside Covina and South Hills students they took a bus to the Long Beach Convention Center. Students had a day filled with school, career, latin american performances, and future ready workshops. The focus was to empower multilingual minds with limitless careers. They had the opportunity to hear from speakers like themselves who started off as English Language Learners. Staff Spotlight
Meet Ms. Claudia Rojas, a dynamic and adventurous Spanish teacher whose life is a blend of culture, passion, and exploration. Ms. Rojas has graced us with her kind and demure personality for 22 years. She will gladly tell you that she loves everything about Northview, hence her time well spent here.
When Ms. Rojas isn’t globetrotting (across Europe specifically) she’s at home indulging in her other two great passions: making salsa and collecting perfume. Her love for travel, salsa, and perfume isn’t just about collecting experiences; it’s about immersing herself in the beauty of the world and sharing it with those around her, whether it’s through the stories she tells in class, the rhythms she teaches, or the sweet aromas that follow her wherever she goes. Ms. Rojas is not just a teacher; she’s a living embodiment of the vibrant cultures she loves.
