Dear St. Anne Parents,

I can now confirm that our school WILL be hosting a Vaccination Clinic THIS SATURDAY, January 22. The clinic will be to vaccinate children 5-11 years old AS WELL AS for people who are ready for their booster. I will have the link to sign up for either the vaccination or the booster sent out to everyone tomorrow. We will hold the clinic in the school cafeteria this time, NOT in Moriarty Hall. Parents can enter the cafeteria using the middle set of doors of the school in the school yard. We have over 85% of all of our students vaccinated at this time, and we hope to have that number be closer to 100% after this vaccination clinic on Saturday. One last thought....I want to thank all of you for all your thoughtful and conscientious effort you have put forth through this latest surge of the virus. Our school continues to lead the other schools by having a low number of cases. Thank you very much......as we say "...St. Anne parents...simply THE BEST!"

We are offering free dress to students whose parents have filled out this survey. See the link below to fill it out and then download the form to return to your child's teacher. Additionally we want to thank you for your quick response to the Student Vaccination Survey we sent out last week.

We have so many surveys attached to this newsletter, I am not attaching one more. I wanted to let you know, however, that we are ready to offer a four week in-person summer program for students entering Kindergarten through incoming sixth grade this summer. The dates of the program would be June 13 - July 8. I need to get an approximate number of students who would be interested in coming to the program BEFORE we continue with the planning. The day would be, as before, 8:00 - 1:00 for academics or 8:00 - 6:00 for full day students which would include arts, sports, games, in the afternoon session. Rather than add one more survey to this newsletter, I will be sending out the survey at the end of the week to find out how many families are interested. Watch for it!

A St. Clare parent education session will be offered via zoom webinar and features a candid and experienced panel of speakers including a learning differences expert and parents and educators who have navigated successful partnerships pre and post learning difference diagnosis for students in K-8 Catholic schools. The purpose of this workshop is to support parents with information to navigate LD assessments, resources, and interventions in partnership with community partners and Catholic schools. The panel discussion will be followed by a live Q & A.

Sessions are free of cost and offer live, real-time translation services in 20 languages.

Does your child have a birthday coming up? What better way to celebrate their

big day then by donating a new book to the library? Once we have received your

donation, your child will come to the library to pick out a grade level book from

our birthday cart which has a great variety of new books. If your child doesn’t

see a book he/she likes, please let us know the name of the book they’d like so

we can order it. A book plate with your child’s name and birthday date will be

placed in the book for all current and future students to see! Your child will not

only be the first one to borrow the book, but it will be on display for all to see

and check out!

If you would like your child to be part of this special club, please fill out the form

with your child’s name and birthdate and enclose a check for $15 made out to St.

Anne School. Once we receive it, we will take care of the rest.

Our next Zoom parent tour will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 25. If you know of a family member or have friends looking for a warm family oriented school, please share these dates or the others so they can explore our school.
