Our Spring Concert is this evening and here are all the details you need to know!

• Where: Coatesville Area Intermediate High School (8/9 Building)
• When: Concert begins at 6:30 pm
• Band and orchestra students should report at 6:00 pm
• Chorus members should report at 6:15 pm.
• Dress Code: Students should wear black/white performance attire for the show.

Our Field Day is scheduled for this Thursday, May 23rd. Here's what you need to know:

• Students in grades 3-5 will participate from 10-12.
• Students in grades K-2 will participate from 1-3.
• All students should wear their Tie Dye shirts for the day along with sneakers and comfy clothes.
• All students should bring a water bottle, towel, change of clothes and sunscreen.
• Spectators are welcome to the outdoor event but will not be allowed inside.
• No vehicles will be allowed around the back of the building. All cars must exit across the front drive.

Last week, East Fallowfield hosted our annual Tie Dye Day! Tie Dye Day is a tradition that began over 20 years ago here and definitely a student favorite activity. Each student and staff member has the opportunity to design their own Tie Dye shirt. The shirts are then worn on Field Day! Thank you so much to our amazing PTO for supporting this event. It would have been impossible without you!

As you know, back in March our students participated in a March Madness bracket to choose the book for our One Book, One School challenge. It was a close race but ultimately the winner was 8 Class Pets, Plus One Squirrel Plus One Dog Equals Chaos.

Students in grades 1-5 have received a copy of our book that they are reading in class with their teacher. Kindergarten students will participate in this building initiative in their classrooms as a read aloud instead of a one-to-one reading assignment.

Chromebooks

• Please be sure to send your child back to school with their district-issued Chromebook and charger if they took it home for the summer.
• If your child turned in their Chromebook at the end of the year, they will be distributed within the first few days of school.
• If your child is in kindergarten or new to the district, laptops will be distributed within the first weeks of school.
• Technology Insurance Fees (TIF) can be made via RevTrak on the school district’s website: https://coatesvillearea.revtrak.net/casd-technology/.

The district is continuing our contract with A Child’s Place as our before and after care provider. Please see the attached flyer below for information about rates and how to enroll your child. We are happy to announce that we will have both before and after care at East Fallowfield this year!
