Welcome to Trimester II! Can you believe we've just completed 12 weeks of school? Wow! Gentle reminder that Parent-Teacher conferences are 11/25-26. See more information below. Did you know that if a student misses 10% of school, (excused or unexcused) the State of Illinois considers it to be chronic absenteeism? That equates to about 2 days per month. Chronic Absenteeism negatively affects a student's academic performance. If your student is sick, please keep them home. Otherwise please continue to encourage your student to come to school every day. Lastly, please do not allow your student to come on school grounds before 8:15am. We do not have supervision before then.

Parents/Guardians,

Please clink the link to find your student's teacher and sign up for a conference.

Conferences are Monday, 11/25/24 from 8-5pm and 6-8pm and

Tuesday, 11/26/24 from 8am-12noon. (Conferences are virtual on this day.)

Parents, your student's homeroom will receive a reward if 90% of parents/guardians come to conferences. Students are welcome to attend as well.

We do not use the typical A, B, C, and D for grading. Please see our grading policy below.

Early Dismissal or Transportation Change:

• If a student needs to be picked up early or a transportation change is needed, please call the main office at 708.798.3424, before 2:30pm. You may also send a written note to school with your student. They must bring it to the main office.
• The next early dismissal is December 20th. The time for making changes on early dismissal days is before 11:15am.

Lunch Drop Off:

• Food delivery services such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc., are not allowed and will be returned.
• Parents/Guardians may drop off lunch for students 20 minutes before the lunch period begins.
• Lunch period times are:
• 3rd grade 10:40am
• 4th grade 11:30am
• 5th Grade 12:15pm

Lost and Found Donation to Goodwill is Friday, November 29th.

• Please remind your student to check the lost and found to collect their belongings.
• The remaining items will be donated to Goodwill on December 2nd.
