Graduation Ceremony Information

Emerson High School Graduation Ceremony

Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 at 4:30PM

Comerica Center

• TICKETS: Each student will receive 12 graduation tickets. The number of tickets each student receives will be the same regardless of graduation location. No students will be provided more than 12 tickets.
• GRADUATION REHEARSAL: Rehearsal will be on Monday, May 19th (time is to be determined), but it will be during the school day at Emerson. Rehearsal is mandatory for all graduating seniors.

• Caps and gowns must be ordered through Jostens to ensure we all match.

• Graduation caps may NOT be decorated for the graduation ceremony. Non-school approved cords, stoles, sashes, etc. may be worn.

• Graduation announcements may be ordered through Josten's or any other place you prefer.

Josten's Dates:

• For best pricing order Cap and Gown by Nov. 2nd.
• Monday, 4/7/25: Cap & Gown Pickup during Mav Time

Seniors, just a reminder that volunteer hours are due April 1st by midnight. If you'd like to see your hour count, there is a list printed by ID number with your total just outside the Counseling Office. You need 100 hours for the light blue cord at graduation.

Update as of 11/14: Senior signs are ready for pickup. Please stop by the AP office after school to get yours. This is a great way to show your school pride, so don't miss out!

Senior Prom - April 5 at The Cotton Mill from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.

Comstock Grads: May 2nd at 7:45 for JKC Live, Breakfast & Walk

Carroll Elementary: April 11 at 7:45am RSVP here by March 1st.

Elliot Grads: Thursday, May 15th at 8:00-8:40 AM Senior Celebration & 8:40-9:00 Celebration Walk

Ogle Grads: May 8th - 7:20am donuts in the Library & 8:00am Senior celebration.

Senior Field Day: Supported by Student Council. Date to be determined.

Baccalaureate: Sunday, May 18th from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. This event is organized by Senior parents and it is not a school or PTSA related event.

Senior Sunset: Organized by PTSA. Monday, May 19th at 7 pm.

Our Emerson PTSA is working with our student leadership groups to offer fun and engaging senior activities. Check the PTSA website for events and updates.
