If you did NOT receive a permission slip and believe your child should be on our LIMO list, please let us know ASAP by calling the office!
School Information
Picture Retakes are on Friday, October 25th!
Students who did not have their picture taken in August, or those who would simply like to “try again” should come ready to SMILE!
If you missed the August picture day, click HERE for information about placing a picture package order. Or simply wait until your student receives their calendar proof card in November - it will have ordering instructions included.

Cold & flu season is coming...
Fall has arrived, and we typically see an increase in student illnesses this time of year. Students will be sent home from school (and should be kept at home) if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
Undiagnosed skin eruptions / rashes
Nausea / vomiting / diarrhea
Severe abdominal pain
Fever of 100 degrees or higher
Disruptive, persistent cough
Loss of taste and/or smell
The district’s attendance policy outlines other factors considered when determining illness, and provides specifics regarding when your child can return to school. Thank you for partnering with us by keeping students that are sick at home to help prevent the spread of illness in our school.
Be Ready for Weather Delays/Closures in DCSD
It seems crazy to talk about weather delays and closures when it's still 80 degrees outside! However, winter will be here before we know it. Douglas County School District takes the safety of our students, staff, parents, and community members seriously. Our district is huge - spanning approximately 850 square miles - and conditions can vary from one region to another. Because many of our families and staff travel across the school district, any weather delay or closure will apply to the entire school district (unless otherwise indicated). Read more about how weather delays and closures are determined in DCSD.
