NROTC Scholarship
Michael Robinson received an NROTC Scholarship for full tuition and fees!
Mrs. Cegielski and Mrs. Winsett were also recognized for their impact on Michael during his high school career.
Way to go Michael!
Cheerleading Competition
The THS cheerleaders competed at UCA Houston Regionals this past Sunday. White team won 1st in Small JV Gameday Division 1 and Red Team got 6th in Super Large Varsity Gameday Division 1. Both teams Received a Bid to Compete at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in February in Orlando Florida. We are proud of your hard work and way to Represent THS!
Golf News
THS Boys Golf came in FIRST PLACE at the Magnolia West Election Day Invitational at Margaritaville Golf Course. Rhett Turner received 2nd place overall medalist.
She competed in the 15-18 age group on the Junior American Tour.
Speech and Debate
Congratulations to the speech and debate team for their success at last weekend’s Grand Oaks HS speech and debate tournament.

Peter Pan and Wendy Opens Thursday!
Tomball STAGE presents “Peter Pan and Wendy” on November 14, 15, 16 and 18 at 7pm, and November 16 at 2:30pm! Come on a wonderful journey to Neverland with Peter, Wendy, the lost boys, & Captain Hook! This adventure is sure to be fun for audience members of all ages! Come and enjoy the performances next week!
Additionally. we are holding the COUGAR BLOCK CHALLENGE: Whichever three Cougar Block Classes have the highest percentage of attendance at any of the performances WILL WIN A DONUT PARTY before the Holiday Break. Students should complete the QR code in the lobby after the show to record your attendance. Let's see which Cougar Block classes will be the lucky winners!

Panorama Survey
Tomball ISD and THS values your feedback. On Monday, November 4, you will receive an email from TISD Communications with a brief survey to tell us about your experience of THS. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for their best futures, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think.
*The survey will begin on November 1 and close on November 17. You will be able to take the survey online at home or on the go on your mobile device. More information to come!

November’s theme for Parent University is all about Planning for Your Child’s Future, and we have three exciting sessions that will help guide your family toward success.
Career and High School Planning: It's Never too Early
November 14th, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Tomball Star Academy
Learn the importance of course and career planning for students of all ages—from elementary through high school—and discover the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs available in Tomball ISD. Breakout sessions will also include high school graduation requirements and information about our Early College High School and P-TECH programs. This session will equip you with tools to set your child on the path to future career success. Please RSVP here if you plan to attend.
Pathways to Independence: Connecting School to Life Beyond
November 19th, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Tomball ISD Technology and Staff Development Center
Join us for a special Parent Information Night focused on Transition Services for students aged 14-22 receiving special education services. Gain the knowledge and resources needed to support your child's journey toward independence and a successful future. This session connects school experiences to life beyond the classroom. Meet with college representatives from across the country at this one-stop shop for planning your child’s postsecondary future. Whether you're just beginning to think about college or actively applying, this event will provide key insights for navigating the college planning process.

- Virtual Senior Financial Aid Night on December 2nd at 6:00 pm - Details to come as we get closer to the event. We will walk through the steps of the FAFSA application process.
- Local Tomball Scholarships for Seniors - Two of the local scholarships are now active!! More to come as we hear back from donors. Seniors need to check back frequently. These are great scholarship opportunities!
- Fall Financial Aid Night Presentation Link
- 2025-2026 FAFSA (for current seniors) is delayed - The FAFSA opening date will be delayed again this year to December 1st. Helpful FAFSA Instruction Sheet
- Tuesday, November 19th Cougar Block College & Career Fair from 9:00-9:45 am, sign-up required. Over 35 institutions will be present from tech/trade, 2 & 4 year, and military. Event for students only. Sign-up closes Nov. 15th at 3 pm.
- Wednesday, November 20th - College Knowledge Night from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Tomball Event Center

- 11/21 - Chennault Aviation Academy
- Lone Star College Rep Visits - Our Lone Star College rep will be on campus twice each month throughout the year to help answer any questions students have about their program, admissions, etc. LSC has many great opportunities for our students. Seniors planning to attend LSC after graduation definitely need to sign-up for a visit! Click here to sign-up
Opportunities for Students with the College & Career Counselor
- College & Career Cougar Block Series - Open to all grade levels, sessions will be held during Cougar Block and cover a variety of topics from post-high school options, college rep panel, financial aid, military options, stress management, and more. Click here to sign-up
- C&C Donut Chat - Before school event once a month (updated) for students to chat with Mrs. Nichols, College & Career Counselor. Sign-up required as space will be limited, donuts will be provided. Dates & sign-up in student’s Schoology!
- College & Career Classroom Videos - Every other week, Mrs. Nichols will share videos for each grade level covering many college and career related topics throughout the year. Videos and presentation links will be shared in each grade level Schoology course for students to refer back to and parents to stay in the loop. Videos posted in grade level Schoology courses under 24-25 Classroom Videos & Slides section.
- Grade Level Schoology Courses - Each grade level will have their own Schoology course provided by Mrs. Nichols, College & Career Counselor. Here students will have information on events, event sign-up, C&C Classroom Video library, C&C Series information, rep visit sign-ups, and more. Parents do not need to do anything to join the course. Once the student joins, parents will have access through their own Schoology login. Information will be provided for parents who do not have accounts set up yet. One Final Senior Yearbook Photo Opportunity at THS
Seniors, if you have not yet done your senior photo, this is your LAST opportunity. Our photography company, CADY, will be making a final visit to campus on Nov. 11. They will be here all day to accommodate anyone who still needs a photo. Please go to https://store.cady.com/ to schedule an appointment during the campus visit. There is a $10 sitting fee but that gets you both the formal photo (which is used for the yearbook) and the cap & gown photo.
