Principal Update: 4/5/2024
Alleluia, our Lord is Risen! Hope Springs Eternal
Professional Development: Even the Principal Has Homework, LoL 😁😀😃
Dear St. Clare Community,
Thank you for your patience and understanding as I was out of the office this week attending the National Catholic Educator Association Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. It was a an incredible opportunity to pray with over 2000 Catholic leaders and teachers from across the world. The opening Mass was led by the former Bishop of Green Bay and dear friend, Most Rev. Bishop David A. Zubik. He is serving as the primary Bishop of Pittsburgh since leaving the Diocese of Green Bay.
I met a couple of the Sisters of Charity from Guam along with Catholic educators from across our great nation. It was wonderful to collaborate and share ideas as well as be inspired by our growing commitments to Catholic education. I am coming home with a renewed energy for the great work happening at our Parish and School and a plethora of ideas for advancing our mission, service, and discipleship.
So... What did I do and learn?
Well, just like students take different subjects and classes... As your Principal, I attended multiple presentations and sessions on topics related to:
1. Mission and Catholic Identity
2. Governance & Leadership
3. Academic Excellence
4. Operational Vitality.
I am excited to connect with the teachers next week and share resources to strengthen our curriculum and overall academic programming in terms of math strategies, reading resources, grammar activities, and service projects.
Most of my time was spent learning about strategic planning & development strategies that are centered around growth, excellence, and most importantly, A DEVOTED DISCIPLESHIP TO JESUS. Our Easter Promise with the Lord is centered in hope and love. I truly love the St. Clare Parish and School community and I am so hopeful for our continued growth and success.
I would ask that you please take a few seconds to click on the button/link below and answer three quick questions about St. Clare School. This will help guide our future goals and projects for the fall and moving forward.
Thank you to Fr. Brian, St. Clare Parish, and the Diocese of Green Bay for their support in my growth and continued development as your Principal. Thank you to the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the NCEA for their hospitality, organization, and commitment to Catholic Education. Thank you especially to Mrs. Lea Verbeten-Minor and the entire Parish Office and School Team for holding down the fort, especially through our most recent winter event and snow day. I pray that your power is restored and you are safe and warm as we weather the joys of Wisconsin.
I am humbled and grateful to continue to be your Principal.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Katie Stanczak
