Falcon Flyer for Families!
April 29-May 3, 2024
Falcon Families,
It has been quite an interesting week. We pray that your homes, cars and families are all safe and sound. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your Sullivan family should you need any assistance as we are here for you!
This next week is another short one. However, we have a few make up events that were cancelled due to last week's E-Learning days. Monday will be Beta Club Induction, and Tuesday will be Night of the Arts. Please come out and celebrate all of our students' academic and artistic achievements!
As a reminder, please make sure that your student turned in assignments to teachers by both Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30. Also, Thursday will be a half-day with students releasing at 11:45, and Friday is a school holiday.
We hope that you have an enjoyable weekend!

Talented Teachers!
Ms. Welch, Ms. Braden, and Ms. Yannotti!
Ms. Welch: "This is my third-year teaching 7th grade Geography at SMS. I am local to the area and earned my Bachelors in Secondary Education from USC Upstate. I knew from a very early age that I had a passion for teaching, and I couldn't imagine myself following any other career path. My favorite part about my job is that no day is ever boring, and I love getting to watch my students learn and grow throughout the year. I also feel extraordinarily blessed to work with an amazing group of teachers who have a such a strong passion for education and love for their students. Their dedication continues to inspire me every day."
Ms. Yannotti: "This is my first full year teaching. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in public health and a minor in psychology. After graduation, I realized quickly my heart belonged in education. After completing an alternative pathway program, I started teaching here at Sullivan January of 2023. I was born and raised in Rock Hill and I am so grateful to be back in the community that raised me! The past year in the classroom has showed me I made the right decision, and I am exactly where I am supposed to be! I love getting to know each and every one of my students and I am so thankful to be here at Sullivan!"
