Erin’s Law, Illinois Public Act 097-­1147, requires public schools to provide child sexual abuse prevention education for students in early childhood through twelfth grades. In January, our school social workers will work with each grade level to provide age ­appropriate information. Classroom teachers will be sharing the dates and times of the presentations with parents in January. Erin’s Law information can be found on the District’s website including the optional opt-out form.

Due to our overflowing collection boxes, Audrey A., Westgate 5th grader, and her dad brought Westgate School’s generous toy donations to the TFT Distribution Center. This delivery consisted of 6 overflowing bags which had 131 Toys, 27 stocking stuffers and 1 book.
