Hello, Central Lee Elementary Parents!
It is my sincere honor to serve the staff, students and families in the Central Lee community as your elementary principal. Our teachers and staff have high expectations of our students and work hard to help them achieve their academic and social goals. As a Leader in Me school, we teach our students the 7 Habits of Happy Kids and value providing our students with leadership opportunities within their classrooms and our school. I am very proud of what our students and staff have accomplished so far this school year.
We welcome you to attend Parent-Teacher Conferences this week, as scheduled with your child’s teacher. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress both academically and socially. Teachers will share academic data from universal screeners and diagnostic tests given this September in the areas of reading and math. If teachers provide any specific interventions to support student learning gaps, those will be shared as well. We strive to work with families to ensure success for all students. We appreciate your willingness to partner with us. Please arrive promptly for your conference and wait for the teacher to call you into the classroom. You are welcome to visit the Scholastic Book Fair in the library before or after your conference.
