McCluer Pathway Decision Night
McCluer High School hosted its Freshman Pathway Decision Night on November 12, marking an important milestone in each student’s high school journey. During the event, students proudly declared their chosen pathways to the community. These pathways are tailored to align with students’ post-graduation aspirations, supporting McCluer’s mission for every graduate to be Enlisted, Enrolled, or Employed. The Pathways program offers a comprehensive blend of curriculum, hands-on learning, industry-specific skills, and essential qualifications to prepare students for success beyond high school. Research highlights that students and families engaged in a Pathway feel they are gaining a head start on future career opportunities. Author Visit at Combs Intermediate
Students learned about resilience and how to face challenges while exploring the power of dreams, home, and determination in the book Onyx & Beyond. The author, Amber McBride, made a visit to Combs Intermediate. Thanks to District Library Content Leader Stephanie Goh for always finding creative ways to bring literacy to life for students. Declaration of Candidacy
The three-year terms of board members Jillian Dunn and Sheila Powell-Walker will expire in April 2025. Ferguson-Florissant residents interested in running for the Board of Education election will need to file for candidacy in person at the Ferguson-Florissant School District Administration Center, 8855 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042.
The first day of filing is December 10, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The last day of filing is December 31, 2024, from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Please note that the hours are shorter due to the district being closed for Winter Break.
