The 2023-24 Annual Report highlights how our Bulldogs are "Leading for Impact" as we showcase achievements such as GHS construction students building a preschool, dual credit programs saving families over $143,000, and a strong focus on academic proficiency and extracurricular success, including back-to-back state speech championships. Guided by a new strategic plan and bolstered by diverse voices from students, staff, and the community, Gering Public Schools continues to shape futures and build pride within our Bulldogs.

At the Board of Education meeting on Monday, January 13, we were pleased to welcome our newest school board member, Matt Kautz.

As part of the annual January meeting, the Board selected its executive leadership for the year. Greg Trautman was elected as Board President, and Tracy Wiese was elected as Board Vice President.

We understand that balancing work and family can be tricky, especially during days off from school. That’s why we offer Bitty Bulldog Day Camp in partnership with the YMCA!

Our program provides a safe, engaging, and fun space for your little Bulldogs to spend their day while you manage work or other responsibilities. From hands-on activities to creative projects and energy-filled fun, it’s a great way to keep kids entertained and happy.
