Resource of the Month
Registrars Office
While registration and senior document requests are primarily done online, our Registrars Office oversees that all paperwork and requests are completed correctly to ensure a smooth enrollment and graduation process.
Science Hill has two registrars: Kristi Robinson (RobinsonK@jcschools.org) who specializes in transcripts and records and Nicole Cahoon (CahoonN@jcschools.org) who specializes in enrollments and records, however both are involved in each student's start and finish here at Science Hill.
Their office is located on the side hallway between the Main Office and Counselor Row and often have a themed nametag on their door so that you can find them with ease. At their office is where students can pay for any graduation fees and online course payments, check senior obligations and ask any questions regarding transcripts or record requests.
Both our registrars are happy to help so please reach out to them with any questions regarding enrollments, graduation requirements, transcripts and records!

End of Course Testing
Science Hill will begin End of Course testing starting on April 29th and continue on throughout the month of May. Please check your student's Canvas pages for information about testing dates for their specific courses and stay tuned for announcements regarding specific materials for students to bring as we get closer to testing.
In regards to attendance, please be aware that on some days students might miss class and be marked. Student attendance will be corrected after the Attendance Office receives the list of students from the Testing Coordinator who were present during their testing period.
Senior Reminders
We're approaching the end of the school year and that means it's getting closer to graduation! We want to make sure that every senior is fully prepared and has met every requirement before walking across that stage at the end of May so please double check that the following have been completed:
- Senior Fee: There is a $10 Senior Fee that goes towards paying parchment for transcripts and records that students will need after they graduate.
- School and Library Obligations: Ensure that all obligations have been taken care of such as turning in ALL textbooks, Chromebooks, chargers, library fines and books, etc. Students can check what they might owe in front of the Registrars Office, in Grand Topper Hall, and outside of the Library doors.
- Graduation Requirements: Students should make sure they are still on track with all graduation requirements with their class credits by completing 28 credits, have taken and passed the Civics exam with a 70 or higher, completed 30 Community Service Hours, and have taken the ACT. Students can check their progress with the Registrars or counselor's.
