Spring Break is Next Week!
March 10-14 is Spring Break! No school that week. We'll see you back at PPCS on Monday, March 17.
Spring Break Snack Packs are ready now!
The Wellness Program Spring Break Snack Packs for children are ready now and will be passed out this Thursday to the pickup line after school. If your child rides a bus, it'd be best if you could stop by the school to pick them up. Come any time between 8 am and 4 pm this week. No one will be at the school during spring break. Call the office with concerns or questions.
Intent to Return
If you have not submitted your family's completed Intent to Return form yet, please do so right away. We need to hear from all families, whether you will be returning or not. If you're not sure at this point, complete the form as though your student will be returning. Contact the office with questions.
For the Love of Coffee
For the Love of Coffee
Landgrove and PPCS have paired up to indulge your love of coffee and support for our amazing school. You can select ANY coffee you wish using this link: http://landgrove-coffee.myshopify.com/PPCS . When you check out you will have a chance to put in your donation amount. Coffee ordered online will be shipped out as they are ordered, so your wait to indulge will be minimal. Coffee can be delivered for in-person pick-up at the end of the fundraiser, which has been extended until March 7th. I will have the coffee delivered to my residence since PPCS will be closed for spring break the following week. If you have any questions, please contact Heather Flynn at ppcsparentcrew@gmail.com.
Thanks supporting PPCS and Landgrove Coffee!
IT'S TIME TO FEED THE TOTE!
Our last snack drive was a success, thanks to all of you who donated to our school-wide snack drive! Providing snacks helps keep our students focused in the classroom, benefiting all. This week, our snack tote will be available for pick-up. You can find it by the PPCS Little Free Library in the traffic circle. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, it will be moved inside near the front office. On behalf of the students, teachers, staff, and PPCS Parent Crew, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Here is a list of snack suggestions from our teachers:
• Snacks must be nut-free, single-serving, and non-perishable
• Please consider your student’s classmates’ allergies
• Low sugar and high protein are preferred
• Gift certificates to Safeway, Rosauers, Winco, and Walmart are welcome
• Apple Sause Pouches, Granola Bars, Dried Fruit or Meat, Crackers, Z-Bars

American's Field Trip Essay & Art Contest
Idaho students in grades 3 and up are invited to share their perspectives on what America means to them for a chance to join peers on field trip experiences at some of the nation’s most iconic historical and cultural landmarks with the America’s Field Trip essay and artwork contest.
The America’s Field Trip contest asks students to take an active role in the conversation. Students are divided into three divisions: elementary (grades 3 – 5), middle school (grades 6 – 8) and high school (grades 9 – 12). They may submit physical and digital artwork or a written essay of up to 500 words. Twenty-five first-place winners from each grade level will receive a three-day, two-night chaperoned trip to a select cultural or historical site.
Application materials are available at https://america250.org/fieldtrip/application/. The contest submission deadline is April 16.
