Get ready to show your school spirit, Wildcats! CMAS Spirit Week is happening April 8 - April 15, and we’ve got some fun dress-up days planned to keep the energy high as we tackle testing. Join in on the fun and show your Wildcat pride each day!

Tuesday, April 8 – Erwin Spirit Day! Wear maroon and gold or any Erwin gear.
Thursday, April 10 – Sports Day! Rep your favorite team with a jersey, T-shirt, or sweatshirt.
Friday, April 11 – Thinking Cap Day! Get your brain ready for testing and wear your favorite hat.
Monday, April 14 – Tropical Day! Bring the island vibes with Hawaiian shirts and bright colors.
Tuesday, April 15 – Dress for Success! Wear something that makes you feel confident and ready to achieve!

A huge round of applause to Elsie A., Mable T., and Etta B. for winning the Grand Battle of the Books this past weekend! Battle of the Books is a trivia-based competition designed to promote a love of literature. These incredible students read eight books and met every week since October to prepare and practice for each battle.

The traveling trophy now resides at LEMS until next year’s battle and can be admired at the library!

Thompson School District's 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤-𝐈𝐧 link for the 2025-2026 school year is now available on your Parent Portal. This yearly update is required for every student enrolled in Thompson School District for the 2025-2026 school year. Parents/guardians in the student’s primary household need to complete the application by reviewing and updating household, emergency contact, student health information and permissions via the link. The TSD Summer Scholars Program offers a unique opportunity for students to engage in focused academic enrichment over the summer. Our amazing Thompson School District teachers will work closely with each student, providing personalized attention in a collaborative and positive environment. By participating, your child will gain the confidence and skills necessary to excel when school resumes!

Classes are offered for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade and will run June 9th-26th at multiple TSD locations. Registration opens Monday, March 17th. Visit this link for more information.

A new section of English classes for adult learners will begin April 1 and continue through May 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays will be in person at Peakview Academy, 6:00-7:30 pm, with free childcare available. Thursdays will be online, 6:00-7:30 pm, to provide participants extra practice. The course flyers in multiple languages can be found here. There is a registration link and QR code on the flyers that will allow you to sign up for either the beginner class or the intermediate class.

Thompson School District has partnered with Safeware, a leader in product protection since 1982, to provide a comprehensive plan to protect your students' devices. The open enrollment period for next school year will be May 1st to May 24th. You may visit the website here to read more, search what exactly is covered as well as the cost for your student's device, and sign up via the portal.
