The Terrapin Times #3
A Leader in Me School - August 16, 2024
Hello Families,
I hope to see you all later today at our Ice Cream Social starting at 4:00!
We have just finished our final week of preparation and are excited for a spectacular school year. Please review the arrival/dismissal map, and let our office know if you have any questions. If you are in TK-1st grade, you will receive an email and/or voicemail letting you know who your child's teacher/classroom is on Monday by 5:00. 2nd-5th grade, you will receive your email and/or voicemail on Tuesday by 5:00. Our staff is taking great care to place students in caring communities, where we hope they will thrive!
We hope all families can join us on Wednesday morning for the first day! You are invited on campus to drop off your student right at the classroom door, come in, say "Hello" to your new teacher, and take some pictures to commemorate the start of a fantastic school year! Then join fellow parents out on our lawn for our Foundation’s Annual Yahoo/Boohoo coffee. So fun! Please note that our parking lot is for staff only, so feel free to park on the street or in the lot above campus at High Country West. After our first day, Turtleback, as well as all PUSD campuses, will remain a ‘closed campus’ to ensure safety of our students and staff. Beginning Thursday, August 22, all children will be dropped off and picked up at the gate. Thank you for understanding this important safety protocol.
