This E-Blast is full of school news and school-related community announcements that are not building specific. All announcements that interest families of multiple schools are published here, allowing each individual school to focus their e-blasts on announcements that are specific to their families only.

Please email any submissions to All_SchoolsNews@WaylandPS.Org no later than end of day on Friday for distribution on the following Wednesday. All Schools News is published every other week during the summer.

Families with children that will be 5 years of age by August 31, 2025 may pre-register their child(ren) for Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.

The pre-registration link may be found on the Kindergarten Information website. We request that you pre-register your child by February 14, 2025 so that we may start to determine school placement, class size, and transportation needs for the incoming Kindergarteners. NO registration documents are needed at this time.

1) Volunteer to help at the breakfast by donating food, supplies or time on March 12th.

2) You or your student can write a personal thank you note to your bus driver or crossing guard. These can be dropped off in the elementary school offices by the end of the school day on Monday March 3rd, or can be dropped off/mailed to Sarah Shtutin, 7 Old Farm Circle, Wayland, MA 01778.

3) Consider a $10 donation, instead, to help offset the cost of the breakfast and the simple gift bags for each driver/guard. Please make a check payable to “Wayland PTO” and mail to Sarah Shtutin, 7 Old Farm Circle, Wayland, MA 01778

This training aims to empower individuals to become active and effective bystanders by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to intervene safely in harmful situations.

Feb 19th 7 p.m. at the Wayland Town Building Large Hearing Room (snacks provided) and via Zoom. Registration encouraged by not required at conservation@wayland.ma.us.

Where: Wayland High School Auditorium

This year's concert will feature the Brown University Jabberwocks, S#arp Attitude from UMASS Amherst, and the Harvard Krokodiloes, along with the Wayland High School Madrigals, Muses, and T-Tones!

All proceeds from the concert will help support the fine arts at WHS.

Friday, March 14, 2025 at 6:00 – 9:30 PM at the Wayland High School Field House for ages 5–12.

Children will enjoy a variety of fun activities, including basketball, soccer, arts & crafts, face painting, board games, movies, and more! All children will be supervised by CPR and First Aid certified staff, and we can accommodate food allergies.

Please consider dropping off a donations (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, combs) between now and February 28 at any of the following locations around town: Claypit Hill elementary school lobby, Wayland library, Btone, Arte Salon and Joint Ventures
