Message from Mrs. Ortiz-Montoya, Principal
Dear Grizzley Families,
Thank you for your support of our students, staff, families and community who came together to support our musical concerts "Orchestra and Guitar, All Artist" and "Concert, and Symphonic Band" at Gridley.
Congratulations to our ~
- Orchestra & Guitar Grizzlies Artists for a remarkable Performance, September 12th
- Concert and Symphonic Band for their outstanding performance, September 26th
- “A Round of Applause” to Mr. Nickles and Mr. Switzer for engaging each and all their "Orchestra and Guitar" and "Concert and Symphonic Band" students, encouraging and reaffirming their hard work and efforts, and executing such fine performances with all students. Spectacular!!!
- Hats off to Mr. Marshall for implementing the Empower Kit into his instruction to enhance his students' learning.
Parent/Teacher conferences were scheduled for September 18th, 19th, and 20th. Our teachers and staff met with parents who took the opportunity to schedule a PTC and to meet with their students' teachers for updates on their academic progress. Some students in ELA and Social Studies classes created a wall of students' work to show parents. The Social Studies students created a wall of the "Civil War", which shows the students work of the history of the Civil War and presented some very talented work.
