Wilder Blast

Wilder Family,

We are already halfway through the school year. In the holiday season, we just want to say thank you for trusting us with your students each day. We have seen so much growth this school year and are excited to show what we have learned this week and next on our midyear Galileo assessment. Students will be testing over Math and Reading. Help us in reminding your students how important trying their best is so we can make sure we show what we know at Wilder.

We have a lot of fun and exciting opportunities coming up, make sure you follow Wilder and Wilder PTA on Facebook. This is a place we post about upcoming events and reminders often.

We strive for open communication. Please reach out to your classroom teacher anytime you have questions or concerns about your students at school. We are here to partner with you in your students education.

Doors open each morning at 7:00 and school begins at 7:20. If your student arrives after 7:20, please check them into the front office. Attendance is very important because if your student is not at school they are not able to learn. Recently the number of students who are arriving after 7:20 has increased. This is very difficult for our office staff to check in all the students and get them safely to class.

December: Literacy at home toolkit

Your student's attendance matters. Being at school on time consistently is important to your students success at school! Reach out if you need support getting your students to school on time daily.

We had our first surprise attendance day in October where the students had extra recess! There is another one coming in November!

Wilder's Current attendance is 94.46%. Our Goal 95% and above!

Wilder's Got Talent

• Wilder PTA is excited to announce that we will host our first annual talent and art show! This is a chance for us to come together for a night of exciting performances along with a showcase of our students' visual artworks and creative writing. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate the amazing talent of our Wildcats!
