Bronco Bulletin May 22, 2024

Greetings Bronco Families,

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones doing well. Please know our staff cannot wait to welcome our Broncos back next week. We have plans to end September by hosting our annual Pie Day event, which supports the Amanda Riley Foundation in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Then, we will kick off the new month with our Bronco of the Month celebration. October is filled with great student opportunities to promote rigorous learning and engagement. See you when you return. The first Beta Club meeting has been moved to October 15 and will be open to students who have paid their dues. Letters will go out before the end of next week.

On September 19th, Crews hosted International Night and we had a blast! Was your student in attendance? If so, great news, your student is eligible to receive 10 CARE points! Please have your student submit proof of attendance at this link by Friday, October 4th. Thank you!

Temporary bus passes will be issued for verified emergencies only. Passes are not allowed as a means of transport to get to others' homes beyond a true emergency. In the case of an emergency, appropriate documentation will be required for approval consideration. Without documentation and approval, a pass will not be considered nor issued.

Please note: This includes October 4th, the day of the Homecoming Parade and game. Students will not be able to ride other buses home with friends, etc. It will still be for emergencies only that day as well.

PIE DAY is MONDAY!!! Due to Hurricane Helene and our school cancellation on Friday, Pie Day has been moved to Monday, September 30! We are so excited! Please encourage your students to wear yellow or gold on Monday to show their support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Also, thanks to Coach Bowen's generosity, we will be taking last minute donations in the courtyard on Monday morning. For every $20 we raise, a student gets to pie her in the face on the spot! Thank you all for your generosity and support! Stay tuned next week for our fundraising total!!

The bookmobile is coming!! Come see the bookmobile and your cluster media specialists in the homecoming parade Friday, October 4th, and then come aboard to get a free book after the parade in front of the school!
