Leadership Message
Dear St. Luke Families,
As we approach the final two months of the school year, it's amazing to see the dedication of our staff and students as they navigate through the curriculum while also finding time for enjoyment. This week was particularly exciting as the girls' basketball team faced off against the staff. The atmosphere was electric with students cheering on both sides. Although the staff put up a good fight, the girls' team proved to be too strong, falling just two baskets short of victory. The enthusiasm from the entire school was truly heartwarming.
Today marked Oilers Day, where many students and staff sported blue and orange attire to show their support for the team during playoff season. It's fantastic to witness such unity and spirit within our school community. It's going to be a blast stepping back into the 80s next Thursday. Students and staff will be bringing out those neon colors, leg warmers, and maybe even tease up that hair for some fun! I can't wait to see everyone's creative outfits and the school buzzing with energy!
I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who have paid their school fees. Your contributions have greatly enhanced our ability to organize field trips during these final months. We deeply appreciate the support and dedication of our families in ensuring the success of our school.
As we continue through the Easter season, let's take this opportunity to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones, to reflect on the values that unite us, and to extend kindness and compassion to those around us.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Welcome to our new Secretary Mrs. Bilyk
My name is Mrs. Bilyk and I am so grateful to be joining the St. Luke team!!
I am a St. Luke graduate myself and it has been wonderful to be back in the community again :)
I came from another school district with many years of experience so don't hesitate to ask me all the hard questions!
When I'm not up at the front desk, my family and I are usually at our cabin or off hiking, snowmobiling or getting lost somewhere in the mountains.
We love the outdoors and are always on the lookout for our next big adventure!
Thank you for your warm welcome back to this beautiful little community and I can't wait to finish out the 2024/2025 school year with all of you!
New Technology Fee for the 2024-2025 School Year
EICS is proposing a new technology fee for students in Grades K through 12 to help cover the increasing costs of providing technology resources. This new fee will replace the K-3 technology fee of $20.00. The proposed fee will be $30.00 per student and will fund various hardware and software needs, such as Chromebooks, Adobe and Microsoft licenses, career guidance software, accessibility software, specialty math software, library software, and other licenses determined by school administration. However, the fee will not be used for network or technology infrastructure costs or staff devices or software.
If you have any questions about either of these fees, please call the school 780-922-5920.

Give a Pencil Car Wash
A warm hello to all!
It is with great pleasure and excitement that the EICS Transportation office announces a yearly car wash fundraiser.
The 1st Annual Carwash "Give a Pencil Car Wash" will be held on May 28th from 9am-2pm at CLS in the Wash Bay.
All proceeds will be used to purchase school supplies through Staples and supplies will be distributed before the beginning of the 2024-25 school year to ALL EICS schools to support our students.
We very much look forward to seeing any and all families, friends and all supporters of EICS to support this great cause. We believe that students equipped with the tools to learn are necessary and support their learning.
Thank you so much to everyone for your support,
EICS Transportation
