Families can join us for a late night of shopping at the Book Fair on Tuesday, September 24th from 4:30-6:00pm.

Visitors on Campus: All visitors must present a valid ID and be on the students Family or Emergency Contact list. For safety reasons, all visitors to campus, no matter the length of time visiting, must park in the parking lot. Please DO NOT park along the curb in front of the building.

There will be dates during the year that the campus will be closed due to testing or special activities on the campus. Those dates will be included in future newsletters.

Parents/Guardians-

You will have the opportunity to view a Volunteer Training video and complete a quiz, when it’s convenient for you.

Here are the 3 requirements for volunteering and/or attending field trips as chaperones:

1. Complete a Background Check. This is handled by Human Resources through this link: https://www.crosbyisd.org/Page/8866

3. After viewing video, Complete Volunteer Training Quiz. (There will be a QR Code and a link to the quiz at the end of the video.)

The 30-minute video must be watched in its entirety, and volunteers must take the quiz. Once the campus has confirmation from the district that the background check and video/quiz are complete, then you may volunteer.

2. Find your school.
3. Click on Library Fines for your school.
4. Put in payment information.
5. You will be prompted to create an account if you have not ever created one on Revtrak.
6. Once you have logged on you can finalize the payment.

Crosby ISD students and families have an upgraded service for online school meal payments, applications, and menus.

Families are encouraged to register now for your SchoolCafé account using these step-by-step instructions in English or instructions in Spanish.

Additionally, your SchoolCafé account gives you access to the new parent portal that allows families to manage students’ meal accounts, including:

• Managing and depositing funds for meal purchases
• Blocking ala carte purchases
• Setup automatic payments and low balance alerts
• Applying for Free or Reduced Price Meals
• Check menus, see nutritional information and allergens.

APPLY FOR FREE and REDUCED MEALS:

To determine eligibility for free or reduced price meals for the 2024-2025 school year, families are encouraged to complete a Meal Benefit/Free & Reduced Meal Application online at www.schoolcafe.com.

Elementary Student Supplementary Handbook: Crosby ISD believes technology is a powerful tool that enhances learning and enables students to access a vast amount of academic resources. The District's goal is to increase student access to digital tools and facilitate immediate access to technology-based information, much the way that students utilize pen and paper. All students, PreK-5th grade, are required to bring their district issued IPAD to school fully charged with the charger every day to school. Students using district issued telecommunication devices must follow the guidelines stated in the handbook while on school property, attending any school-sponsored activity, or using the Crosby ISD network. Students at the elementary level are not allowed to use personal devices at school. These electronics include but are not limited to: cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, games and the like. If a student brings a personal device to school, it must be turned off and remain in their backpack. Any personal electronics used at school will be taken up and must be retrieved by a parent.

Please notice on the calendar below that students attend school on Fridays in August, September, January, April & May.
